Shadow Goes Greatest Hits
On the other side of gaming, I have to say that I was a bit disappointed with the XBLA version of Street Fighter II' Hyper Fighting as it suffers quite a bit from lag and the saddness that is the Xbox 360 Controller D-Pad. With those two handicaps, I doubt that the game will ever be much of a truly competitive landscape. I consider myself to be a pretty darn good SF player and I was having difficulties pulling off even some of the more basic combos and moves. One might even say that I got frustrated... and that it was only the invite by a friend (Evil Mike) that kept me from calling it quits after a dozen or so games. I'm not sure what the experience was for others, but I actually could not connect to a match unless I hosted it myself. Everything else timed out. If any of you have had a better experience, then definitely post about it. I'm just not convinced that any fighting game can really have a serious and accurately-playing online component... unless we somehow switch over to the Internet 2.
