Kevin Smith = The Best

I haven't really talked about it much on this blog, but I am a huge fan of Kevin Smith. He's such a funny guy and has a great view on Hollywood and life, in general. That's why I highly recommend running out and grabbing both volumes of his "An Evening With Kevin Smith" DVDs. The first one has been out for several years, but the second one only recently got released... on the same date as Clerks II, if I recall correctly. Basically, the DVDs are various spotlights on his college tours around the U.S., Canada and Europe. It's a pretty basic premise in that people just ask him questions and he answers them. However, the responses he gives are pure genius and will quickly have you falling to the floor in laughter.



As an example of the sort of the questions and answers that you'll see on the discs, here is a timeless sequence of Kevin Smith detailing the events that led to his writing of the Superman Lives script. Enjoy!
