Beware The Dangers of Slang

In an interesting educational release, Microsoft created a webpage which talks about the dangers of online slang. Apparently, understanding how your teenager talks online is crucial to being a good parent.

Speaking of MS, it appears that the company has reversed their decision on the new version of Internet Explorer and will now be releasing it as a separate update later this year. I wonder if this has anything to do with the rapid growth of Firefox users (over 25 million downloads and counting). Nah, that couldn't be it.

As some of you may know, I'm a growing fan of Tony Jaa. He's definitely up and coming and could become an international star rather quickly, especially if he lands the role in the upcoming Die Hard movie. His most recent Thai movie is entitled Tom-Yum-Goong and a trailer for it can be found here.

If you're more interested about Jaa, then definitely check out some of his many fan sites. One of better ones is located at http://www.tonyjaa.org/

Sorry to be contributing something so inane, but this is a kind of cool (and obviously stupid) response to the microsoft slang warning:

I tried using this to write an email to my savvy-wannabe middle aged dad who writes to me in kiddie slang that I have no chance of understanding.....
