A Virtual Cornucopia of Goodness

I've been on the kick of finding unique and cool Flash games recently and just came across two more today. They aren't the greatest ones ever, but you'll still find them enjoyable:

Aggressive Alpine Skiing - This game can be a bit challenging for some, but there's plenty of fun (and blood) to be found on this slope.

squares 2 - If skiing happens to be too difficult for you, then this game might just be what you're in shape for (pun intended).

While there can be no doubt that I'm excited about the upcoming release of the Sony PSP, I still try to stay on top of all the different A/V players out on the market. At least for the current time, iRiver and Creative seem to be the dominant players, but that might be changing soon. Epson, of all companies, is readying its own entry into the genre. The P-2000 is what it's called and it is looking pretty darn sweet.

Sometimes people manage to take two completely different items and create a product that is infinitely greater than the sum of its parts. "The Big Tiki Drive" is a perfect example of this. Who's betting that marketing folks everywhere are practically salivating. Hmmm... but what sort of promotions could it be used for?

There are plenty of videogame quizzes on the web, but here is the most recent one I've been informed of. How many can you get right?

Those of you who enjoyed Napolean Dynamite more than I did will probably be happy to hear that someone finally put together a soundboard for the movie. Thanks to Chris Lucich for emailing me the link to it. Also, which Napolean Dynamite character are you? Find out here.

Gadgets & Crashes Galore

I'm currently in the process of gathering together more pictures of Miya, so definitely check out the pictures section of my site later this week. My wife might even allow me to put up some pictures of her and Miya, so cross your fingers.

A few updates ago, I shared some links to some rather cool mini-games, but today's link definitely takes the cake. It's called NANACA CRASH!! and you're going to love it. The strategy of hitting the correct person at the right angles will keep you playing it for days on end. If your productivity level drops, though, don't try and blame me.

One of my favorite magazines, Mobile PC, just recently compiled a list of its Top 100 Gadgets of All Time. In order to qualify for the list, the gadgets had to conform to several criteria such as having moving parts and being smaller than a bread box. And yes, for those who were wondering, the Roomba did make the list.

Have you ever tried to remember the name of a game, but could only recall certain aspects of how it played? Well, there might just be a website that can help you now. Fling your browser to What Was That Game? and discover the true identity of your elusive title.

Oh, as a last minute addition, here's a link to the House of Wax trailer. It's being done by Dark Castle (Joel Silver's company), which has been responsible for the likes of House on Haunted Hill, 13th Ghost, Ghost Ship and Gothika. I pretty much enjoyed all the movies on that list, which is why I'm eager to see this one. Besides, it has Elisha Cuthbert in it, so it can't be that bad. Oh, wait... Paris Hilton is in it too.
