Shadow Goes Greatest Hits

I'm surprised at how quickly this game achieved the coveted red banner and $19.99 price tag, but it is definitely great news to all you gamers out there that have yet to try out this amazing experience. Sure, there are issues people can complain about but you can easily throw those aside as you quickly find yourself immersed in such a unique and interesting world. Regardless of who you are, definitely run out and pick this PS2 title up starting on August 6th. You won't regret it.

On the other side of gaming, I have to say that I was a bit disappointed with the XBLA version of Street Fighter II' Hyper Fighting as it suffers quite a bit from lag and the saddness that is the Xbox 360 Controller D-Pad. With those two handicaps, I doubt that the game will ever be much of a truly competitive landscape. I consider myself to be a pretty darn good SF player and I was having difficulties pulling off even some of the more basic combos and moves. One might even say that I got frustrated... and that it was only the invite by a friend (Evil Mike) that kept me from calling it quits after a dozen or so games. I'm not sure what the experience was for others, but I actually could not connect to a match unless I hosted it myself. Everything else timed out. If any of you have had a better experience, then definitely post about it. I'm just not convinced that any fighting game can really have a serious and accurately-playing online component... unless we somehow switch over to the Internet 2.
